Mojalet: Bubbles & Urban Strides - Sunday 2PM

Artistic Director, Faith Jensen-Ismay presents a full company performance showcasing the array of dynamics and emotions in the three works: Bubbles, Urban Strides Eccentric/Excentric. Bubbles (2024) is a half evening work exploring the many ways we think of and use bubbles -from playful effervescent to the meaning of life. Bubbles symbolize the transient nature of life and remind us to embrace the present moment. They represent purity, playfulness, and transformation. Just like a bubble floating in the air, our lives are delicate and fleeting.Urban Strides (2025) explores the intense dynamics that reflect people living in a densely populated area. The dynamic and vibrant nature that often leads to aggressive energy within the inner city. Eccentric/Excentric (premiere)explores playful, exaggerated personalities through movement, costumes and music. Solos, duets and ensembles allow personalities to deviate from conventional or accepted usage or conduct in odd, whimsical, and unexpected ways.
