Jerry Hager “The Hobo’s Circus” is a homage to legends Chaplin, Skeleton, and Emmitt Kelly. Lifelong San Diego mime artist Jerry Hager and musician Jason Berman share a touching story that will warm the hearts of everyone in the family.
Set in an abandoned boxcar, Willie, a traveling hobo who once dreamed of being a circus clown, is visited by a jovial apparition, Ring, who guides him to rediscover his lost joy.
The show weaves pantomime routines, clown, and live music, into a clever physical theatre approach to storytelling. Yet “The Hobo’s Circus” is not just a tribute to clown legends but also an homage to life, love, and what it means to come alive.
